Show and Share - Letter "W"

Mommy and Andrew had a rough start to the day this morning. Whenever I have to take Andrew to school, things just don't go my way. Andrew was pouty as you can see from this picture. Anyway, the letter of the week is "W." We are taking a small, seedless watermelon that Andrew plans to share with his classmates.

Show and Share - Letter "V"

The letter of the week is "V." Andrew is taking vegetable juice a.k.a. V-8. I will be so sad when we get to the end of the alphabet...we are getting close. He was so proud of his show and share item this morning. He wanted to hold it, and he would not let me take it and put it on his teacher's desk. He is such a good boy!!

Show and Share - Letter "U"

For Show and Share on Friday, Andrew will be taking this photo of him from our visit to the Sedgwick County Zoo. He will point out that he learned how to milk a cow by using the "u"dders. The letter "u" was hard as I could only think of "umbrella", and we wanted to be different, so we are going with "u"dder.

Young's Hunting the Country Video

David and friends have a yearly deer hunting trip here in Kansas with friends from Clarksdale...they also have a yearly turkey hunting trip here as well, but this video features the deer trip from last November (2008). In the video, Charles Merkel is featured after shooting a deer with Chism Craig assisting him in locating the deer. David does a great narration...he made this all by himself!
