Playdates are Fun!

Here are pictures from Saturday morning of Andrew and his friend Ayden. He came over and they played nicely in the backyard. It is so easy to share when he first arrives, but by the end of the hour, you can see from the picture on the ladder it gets tough...

Ready to Hunt

Here are my two favorite boys in their new hunting gear. David bought this hunting blind (is that how you say it?) for him and Andrew to hide out in while hunting deer and turkey. Andrew woke up the other morning and out of the blue told David, "Dada, I want to go with you to shoot deer and turkeys." Ever since then, it is all they talk about. I am so glad Andrew is finally old enough to tag along. What will I do with all of my free time? For the first time ever, I wish hunting season lasted longer. I am so glad I had a boy.

Swimming Lesson #3

Andrew had his third swimming lesson today. He can float, blow bubbles, go under, jump in...he is getting so close to being able to swim. We are so proud!

Chuckie Cheeses, Fishing, Zoo

We had a fun weekend. Here are some photos. Andrew and I went to Wichita for the day on Sunday so that Daddy could study. On Saturday, we all went fishing, but nothing was biting:(

Andrew and King

We were on our way to the grocery store last night when Andrew saw what he still thinks was "Mr. The King" from the movie Cars. It was actually the Ryan Newman Alltel car at our Alltel store on its national tour of Alltel stores. Anyway, it was a neat and unexpected stop for us!

Y-M-C-A

We are now members of the YMCA here... Andrew had his second swimming lesson on Tuesday night. He is the youngest in his class, but he is doing really well. He thinks he can swim already, but he just sinks to the bottom. I will try to remember to take my camera next week and take a picture of him with his classmates.

My First Blog Entry

Andrew rode a pony for the first time ever this year at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson (September 6th). He loved it! Here is a picture of him enjoying his ride. Last summer I tried this at several different places only to go back with a screaming toddler to get a refund. This time he just hopped right on like he rode everyday!

BTW, this is my first blog entry. I am just playing around on the computer...I do not know if I will become an avid blogger as so many others have. I am going to try!
