All School's Day Parade and Activities

Andrew and his friend Thomas before the parade.

Andrew enjoying the bouncy slide as Nana looks on in the background.
What would a Kansas parade be without the Wizard of Oz?

Andrew petting the miniature horse before the parade.

Mmmmmm.

A yearly tradition where we live is the All Schools Day Celebration. Business throughout town, banks and every school closes for the entire day. There is a carnival all week long, and a fantastic parade on Friday.

The event begins on Sunday and continues throughout the week. All Schools Day activities include a May Fete event, a huge parade down Main Street, carnival rides, activities in many locations throughout the city, fireworks, music, tours, food and shopping!

Nana, David, Andrew and I were able to enjoy the All School's Day experience together this year.
